Tsitsernakaberd - Victory Park

Tsitsernakaberd - Parque de victoria Erected on a hill overlooking Yerevan, the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial is a solemn monument dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide. This commemorative complex, inaugurated in 1967, consists of a 44-metre needle symbolising the rebirth of the Armenian people, and a circle of twelve inclined basalt slabs surrounding an eternal flame. The complex includes the Genocide Museum-Institute, which holds important historical documents and testimonies. The surrounding park, known as Victory Park, complements the memorial with its Avenue of Memory Trees, where world dignitaries have planted trees as a sign of solidarity. During our visit, we will walk in silent respect through the memorial, observe the eternal flame burning in memory of the victims and reflect on history while contemplating the impressive views of Mount Ararat from the gardens. Garni

Zvartnots Temple

Templo Zvartnots Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the majestic Zvartnots Temple was built in the 7th century near Echmiadzin, Armenia, representing the pinnacle of medieval Armenian architecture. This unique monument, whose name means 'Temple of the Celestial Angels', was renowned for its innovative three-tiered circular design reaching 45 metres in height, setting new architectural standards in its era. Although now in ruins after collapsing in the 10th century due to an earthquake, its imposing remains, finely carved capitals and pioneering use of arches and vaults demonstrate the sophistication of ancient Armenia. During our exploration, we will walk among the massive columns that once supported this architectural wonder, admire the delicate reliefs of vines and pomegranates, and be transported to the splendour of the ancient Kingdom of Armenia as Mount Ararat appears on the horizon. Oshakan

Rustaveli Avenue

Avenida Rustaveli Rustaveli Avenue, the main artery of Tbilisi, extends 1.5 kilometres from Freedom Square to Republic Square. This iconic street, named after the medieval poet Shota Rustaveli, is home to the city's most prestigious buildings, including the Parliament of Georgia, the Opera Theatre and the National Museum, all built in neoclassical and Art Nouveau style during the 19th century. During our walk, we will enjoy the vibrant Georgian cultural life, stop at its elegant historic cafés and admire the monumental architecture while exploring the many shops and art galleries.

Metekhi Square

Plaza de Metekhi Metekhi Square, one of the most iconic historic landmarks of Tbilisi, rises on a cliff with commanding views of the Mtkvari River. This landmark is dominated by the 13th-century church and the equestrian statue of King Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of the city. The square was for centuries the seat of the royal palace, establishing itself as a strategic and cultural centre. Although the original church was built in the 5th century, the structure we can admire today is a 13th-century reconstruction. During our tour, we will enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views of the old town and the famous bath district. We will also explore Metekhi Church and immerse ourselves in the fascinating history of the king who, with his vision, established Tbilisi as the capital of Georgia, forging one of the most representative places of Georgian heritage.

Narikala Fortress

Fortaleza Narikala Narikala Fortress, the iconic symbol of Tbilisi, has dominated the city's skyline since the 4th century. This ancient citadel, originally Persian and later expanded by Arabs and Georgians, rises on a steep hill with views of the Mtkvari River and the old town. Its imposing walls and towers have witnessed the diverse civilisations that have ruled Georgia, including the reconstructed Church of St Nicholas from the 12th century. During our visit, we will take the cable car up to the fortress, walk along its ancient defensive walls and capture stunning panoramic views of Tbilisi as the sun sets over the city.

Abanotubani

Abanotubani Abanotubani, the historic sulphur bath district in the heart of old Tbilisi, represents the original core where the Georgian capital was founded. Located on the right bank of the Mtkvari River, this neighbourhood is famous for its distinctive sulphur baths with brick domes emerging from the ground, witnessing over 1,500 years of history. The natural thermal waters that spring from the depths of the earth maintain a constant temperature of 37–40°C, and their healing properties have attracted illustrious visitors such as Alexander Pushkin and Alexandre Dumas. During our visit, we will wander through these streets of legendary thermal waters and lose ourselves among the picturesque medieval lanes that wind between the baths, breathing in the most authentic essence of ancient Tbilisi.  

Anchiskhati

Anchiskhati Anchiskhati Basilica, the oldest church in Tbilisi, is a vital testimony to Georgia's Christian history since the 6th century. Located in the heart of the old town, this sandstone church, dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, owes its name to the miraculous icon of Christ (Anchiskhati) it housed for centuries. Its three-nave basilica architecture, typically Georgian, is complemented by medieval frescoes and a 17th-century bell tower. During our exploration, we will participate in the mystical atmosphere of the temple, listen to the ancient Georgian polyphonic chants that still resonate in its walls and admire the craftsmanship of its traditional icons.

Ananuri

Ananuri Ananuri, an impressive medieval fortress located 66 kilometres from Tbilisi, rises majestically above the Zhinvali Reservoir on the historic Georgian Military Highway. This 13th-century architectural complex, which served as the seat of the eristavis (dukes) of Aragvi, combines defensive elements with extraordinary examples of Georgian religious architecture, highlighted by its main church with intricate stone reliefs and well-preserved frescoes. During our visit, we will explore the fortified towers, admire the panoramic views of the turquoise reservoir and discover the secrets of medieval Georgian architecture as we stroll through its ancient cobblestone courtyards.  

Gergeti Trinity Church

Trinidad de Gergeti Gergeti Trinity Church stands majestically at 2,170 metres under the shadow of Mount Kazbegi (5,047m). This iconic 14th-century church, situated in the historic region of Khevi, is one of the most recognisable symbols of Georgia, distinguished by its remote location and traditional Georgian architecture against the backdrop of the snow-capped Caucasus mountains. During our excursion, we will ascend by 4x4 along the winding mountain road, explore the ancient monastic complex and take in the panoramic views of the surrounding glaciers and peaks.

Stalin Museum

Museo de Stalin The Stalin Museum in Gori, birthplace of the controversial Soviet leader, is one of the last museums in the world dedicated to Josef Stalin. The complex includes the original birthplace, a Soviet palace-style building and Stalin's personal railway carriage. The exhibition holds an extensive collection of personal objects, photographs, historical documents and the dictator's original death mask. Shekvetili Dendrological Park

Parque dendrógico de Shekvetili Shekvetili Dendrological Park is located on the Black Sea coast in the Guria region of Georgia, representing one of the most innovative and modern botanical gardens in the Caucasus. This fascinating green space, opened in 2020, covers 60 hectares of land showcasing more than 200 species of exotic plants arranged in different microclimates and themed environments. The park features a state-of-the-art tropical greenhouse, Japanese gardens and an impressive collection of giant bamboo and palm trees. During our tour, we will marvel at the elevated walkways among the treetops, explore Georgia's largest hedge maze and enjoy panoramic views from the observation tower overlooking the entire botanical complex.  

Batumi

Vardzia

Vardzia Carved into the vertical face of Mount Erusheli, Vardzia emerges as an impressive 12th-century cave monastery city, symbol of the cultural apex of medieval Georgia during the reign of Queen Tamar. This monastic complex extends over 500 metres and reaches up to 19 levels high, housing more than 600 rooms including churches, wine cellars, libraries and an intricate tunnel and irrigation system. The site is especially notable for the Church of the Dormition, which preserves exceptional 12th-century frescoes including a famous portrait of Queen Tamar. During our exploration, we will walk through the tunnels and secret staircases connecting the different chambers, discover ancient wine cellars, and marvel at the medieval frescoes that have survived earthquakes and centuries of history in this rock-carved architectural gem.

Walk around Gyumri

Paseo por Gyumri Gyumri, Armenia's second-largest city, sits on the fertile Shirak plain, standing out as a cultural and historic treasure reflecting the country's rich heritage. This ancient city, formerly known as Alexandropol and Leninakan, preserves an impressive collection of 19th-century architecture in its distinctive black tuff stone style, having survived devastating earthquakes that have marked its history. The historic centre, known as Kumayri, captivates with its cobblestone streets, stately buildings and the magnificent Church of the Holy Apostles. During our walk through its historic streets, we will explore the lively local markets, taste authentic Shirak cuisine in traditional restaurants and immerse ourselves in the vibrant artistic atmosphere that has made Gyumri Armenia's cultural hub.

Dilijan

Diliján Known as the "Little Switzerland of Armenia", Dilijan is a charming spa town located in the Tavush province, in northern Armenia. Surrounded by the dense forested mountains of Dilijan National Park, covering more than 24,000 hectares of lush nature, this historic town is distinguished by its traditional Armenian architecture, with 19th-century wooden and stone houses adorning its winding streets. These carefully preserved buildings display the characteristic carved balconies and ornate windows that reflect the rich craft tradition of the region. The city has been for centuries an important cultural and healing centre, famous for its curative mineral waters and its pure mountain air, attracting artists, composers and writers in search of inspiration. Dilijan's unique microclimate, characterised by cool summers and mild winters, together with its renowned bicarbonate- and calcium-rich mineral springs, has made the city a preferred health tourism destination since the Soviet era. During our stay, we will stroll through the charming restored old town, where every corner tells a story of traditional Armenia, taste the famous local mineral waters at historic fountains and venture along forest trails leading to centuries-old monasteries. The well-marked paths of the National Park offer routes for all levels, from gentle walks to challenging mountain hikes, allowing us to experience the perfect fusion of Armenian nature and culture. We will also have the opportunity to visit local craft workshops, where master craftspeople continue practising traditional techniques passed down through generations.

Khor Virap

During our visit we will explore the ancient underground cells, admire the impressive view of Mount Ararat and discover the history that makes Khor Virap a sacred and unforgettable place. Areni Cave

Cueva de Areni Areni Cave, located in the Vayots Dzor region of Armenia, is an archaeological site of great historical importance. Fascinating prehistoric artefacts have also been found there, revealing the origins of viticulture and life in the Copper Age.
