During our visit we'll explore the detailed sculptures, learn about Georgia's ancient traditions and immerse ourselves in the cultural richness that makes this museum a one-of-a-kind destination. "

Gonio Fortress

Fortaleza de Gonio Gonio Fortress, situated near the Black Sea coast a few kilometers from Batumi, is a historic monument of great importance. Built during the Roman era, this fortification dates from the 1st century AD and is considered one of the oldest archaeological sites in the country. Famous for its defensive design and its connection to the Silk Road, Gonio is also steeped in legends relating to the tomb of the Apostle Matthew, making it a blend of history and myth. During our visit we'll walk its ancient walls, explore the archaeological museum and uncover the mysteries and legends surrounding this fascinating destination beside the Black Sea.

Shekvetili Dendrological Park

Parque dendrógico de Shekvetili The Shekvetili Dendrological Park is located on the Black Sea coast in the Guria region of Georgia, and is one of the most innovative and modern botanical gardens in the Caucasus. This fascinating green space, inaugurated in 2020, covers 60 hectares and displays over 200 exotic plant species arranged in different microclimates and themed areas. The park is notable for its state-of-the-art Tropical Greenhouse, Japanese gardens and an impressive collection of giant bamboo and palm trees. During our tour, we'll marvel at the elevated walkways through the tree canopy, explore Georgia's largest hedge maze and enjoy panoramic views from the observation tower overlooking the entire botanical complex.

Ubisa Monastery

Monasterio Ubisa Ubisa Monastery, located in the Imereti region of Georgia, is a monastic complex founded in the 9th century. The monastery is famous for its 14th-century frescoes depicting biblical scenes in the distinctive style of the medieval Georgian painting school. Surrounded by serene mountain scenery, Ubisa blends art, spirituality and architecture in an atmosphere that invites contemplation and admiration of its millennial history. During our visit we'll explore the meticulously preserved frescoes, learn about Georgia's rich spiritual tradition and enjoy the tranquility that envelops this historic place.

Day 4 - Tbilisi - Guided City Tour

Rustaveli Avenue

Avenida Rustaveli Rustaveli Avenue, the main artery of Tbilisi, stretches 1.5 kilometers from Freedom Square to Republic Square. This iconic boulevard, named after medieval poet Shota Rustaveli, is lined with the city's most prestigious buildings including the Parliament of Georgia, the Opera Theatre and the National Museum, all built in neoclassical and Art Nouveau style during the 19th century. During our stroll, we'll soak up the vibrant Georgian cultural life, stop at elegant historic cafés and admire the monumental architecture while browsing the many shops and art galleries.  

Metekhi Square

Plaza de Metekhi Metekhi Square, one of the most iconic historic spots in Tbilisi, sits atop a cliff with sweeping views of the Mtkvari river. The area is dominated by the 13th-century church and the equestrian statue of King Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of the city. The square was for centuries home to the royal palace, cementing its role as a strategic and cultural center. Although the original church was built in the 5th century, the structure we see today is a 13th-century reconstruction. During our tour, we'll take in the spectacular panoramic views of the old town and the famous bathhouse district, explore Metekhi Church and delve into the fascinating history of the king who established Tbilisi as Georgia's capital.  

Narikala Fortress

Fortaleza Narikala Narikala Fortress, the iconic symbol of Tbilisi, has dominated the city's skyline since the 4th century. This ancient citadel, originally Persian and later expanded by Arabs and Georgians, rises on a steep hill overlooking the Mtkvari river and the old town. Its imposing walls and towers have witnessed the many civilizations that have ruled Georgia, including the rebuilt St. Nicholas Church from the 12th century. During our visit, we'll ride the cable car up to the fortress, walk its ancient defensive walls and capture stunning panoramic views of Tbilisi as the sun sets over the city.  

Abanotubani

Abanotubani Abanotubani, the historic sulfurous bathhouse district in the heart of old Tbilisi, is the original nucleus where the Georgian capital was founded. Located on the right bank of the Mtkvari river, this neighborhood is famous for its distinctive sulfur baths with brick domes rising from the ground, witnesses to over 1,500 years of history. The natural thermal waters that bubble up from the earth maintain a constant temperature of 37–40°C, and their healing properties have attracted famous visitors such as Alexander Pushkin and Alexandre Dumas. During our visit, we'll wander through these streets of legendary thermal waters and get lost among the picturesque medieval alleyways winding between the bathhouses, breathing in the most authentic essence of ancient Tbilisi.  

Anchiskhati

Anchiskhati Anchiskhati Basilica, the oldest church in Tbilisi, is a vital testimony to Georgia's Christian history since the 6th century. Located in the heart of the old town, this sandstone church dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin Mary takes its name from the miraculous icon of Christ (Anchiskhati) it housed for centuries. Its three-nave basilica architecture, typically Georgian, is complemented by medieval frescoes and a 17th-century bell tower. During our exploration, we'll take in the mystical atmosphere of the temple, listen to the ancient Georgian polyphonic chants that still echo within its walls and admire the craftsmanship of its traditional icons.  

Day 5 - Tbilisi - Telavi - Alaverdi - Gremi - Kvareli - Tbilisi

Telavi

Telavi Nestled in the heart of the Kakheti wine region, Telavi sits majestically at the foothills of the Caucasus mountains, serving as the historic capital of this eastern region of Georgia. This medieval town captivates with its imposing 17th-century fortress, the Palace of King Erekle II, its ancient walls and the legendary 900-year-old plane tree — a silent witness to its rich history. Telavi is particularly renowned for its traditional wine cellars and its crucial role in Georgia's millennia-old winemaking tradition, where the kvevri fermentation method remains alive. During our stay, we'll stroll its cobblestone streets, visit nearby monasteries, take part in a local wine tasting and experience genuine Georgian hospitality at traditional wine houses. Alaverdi Monastery

Khareba Tunnel Winery

Bodega Khareba en tunel Nestled in the heart of the Kakheti region, Khareba Winery is distinguished by its extraordinary tunnel system carved into the Caucasus mountain, extending over 7.7 kilometers at a depth of 60 meters. Originally built during the Soviet era, this underground labyrinth maintains a constant natural temperature of 12–14°C, creating ideal conditions for wine aging. The winery combines traditional Georgian vinification methods in qvevri with modern technology, producing exceptional wines from indigenous grape varieties such as Saperavi and Rkatsiteli. This extraordinary archaeological complex, considered one of the oldest settlements in the Caucasus, was a major religious and commercial hub on the historic Silk Road. Its architectural structures include pagan temples, Christian basilicas and civic buildings reflecting the unique fusion of Christian and pagan styles. The city is notable for its network of streets, secret tunnels and an exceptionally well-preserved Roman theatre. During our visit we'll explore the ancient wine cellars, walk the stone-carved alleyways and marvel at the panoramic views of the Mtkvari river from atop this natural acropolis, traveling back through more than 3,000 years of Caucasian history. Stalin Museum

Museo de Stalin The Stalin Museum in Gori, the birthplace of the controversial Soviet leader, is one of the last museums in the world dedicated to Josef Stalin. The complex includes the original birthplace house, a Soviet palace-style building and Stalin's personal railway carriage. The exhibition holds an extensive collection of personal objects, photographs, historical documents and the dictator's original death mask. During our visit, we'll tour the rooms documenting Stalin's life from his youth in Georgia to his Soviet leadership, examine his armored luxury railway carriage and reflect on the complex historical legacy he left in the region. During our visit, we'll walk its illuminated passages, marveling at formations sculpted by nature over centuries, and enjoy a boat ride that immerses us in the serenity and hidden beauty of this underground world. Martvili Canyon

Martvili Cañón Martvili Canyon, located in the Samegrelo region of Georgia, is a natural wonder renowned for its turquoise waters and stunning waterfalls.
