This is an exciting journey into the heart of Georgia, a land full of historical wealth, natural wonders and vibrant culture. This 5-day itinerary takes you to the most emblematic destinations in the country, from the capital Tbilisi to the majestic Prometheus Cave. You will explore charming cities like Kutaisi and Batumi, marvel at unique natural landscapes such as the Okatse Canyon and the Martvili Canyon, and discover architectural gems like the Bagrati Cathedral and the historic monasteries of Motsameta and Gelati. Each day promises an unforgettable experience combining adventure, culture and nature.

You begin your journey in Tbilisi with a visit to the historic city of Mtskheta and the mysterious rock-hewn city of Uplistsikhe. Then you head to Kutaisi, where you will explore natural treasures such as the Okatse and Martvili Canyons. On the third day you enjoy a perfect combination of nature and modernity with an excursion to the Dendrological Park and the coastal city of Batumi. The fourth day is devoted to the iconic monuments of Kutaisi, such as Bagrati Cathedral, and the beautiful monasteries of the region. Finally, you close the journey with a visit to the impressive Sataplia and Prometheus Caves before returning to Tbilisi. Djvari - Monastery of the Cross

Djvari - Monasterio de la cruz The Djvari Monastery, known as the "Monastery of the Cross", is an iconic religious building near Mtskheta, Georgia, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 6th century on the top of a hill, this monastery offers breathtaking panoramic views of the confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers. It is considered a masterpiece of Georgian medieval architecture and a sacred site symbolising the adoption of Christianity in Georgia. Svetitskhoveli

Svetitskhoveli The Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, located in the former capital Mtskheta, is the spiritual heart of Georgia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994. This majestic 11th-century cathedral, built on the site where the robe of Christ is said to be buried, is an outstanding example of Georgian medieval architecture with its tall decorated stone facade, central dome and historic frescoes. During our exploration we discover the many legends surrounding this sacred place, admire the extraordinary church architecture and experience the ancient religious traditions that are still alive in this spiritual centre. Uplistsikhe

Uplistsikhe Located in the Kartli region of central Georgia, Uplistsikhe is an ancient rock-hewn city carved out of the rock and dating back to the first millennium BC. This extraordinary archaeological complex, one of the oldest settlements in the Caucasus, was an important religious and commercial centre on the historic Silk Road. Its architectural structures include pagan temples, Christian basilicas and civic buildings, reflecting the unique fusion of Christian and pagan styles. The city is distinguished by its street system, secret tunnels and an exceptionally well-preserved Roman theatre. During our visit we explore the ancient wine cellars, walk through stone-carved alleyways and marvel at the panoramic views over the Mtkvari River from the heights of this natural acropolis, transporting us through over 3,000 years of Caucasian history. Stalin Museum

Museo de Stalin The Stalin Museum in Gori, the birthplace of the controversial Soviet leader, is one of the last museums dedicated to Josef Stalin. The complex includes the original birth house, a building in Soviet palace style and Stalin's personal railway carriage. The exhibition houses an extensive collection of personal objects, photographs, historical documents and the original death mask of the dictator. During our visit we explore the halls documenting Stalin's life from his youth in Georgia to his leadership of the Soviet Union, view his armoured luxury carriage and reflect on the complex historical legacy he left in the region. Okatse Canyon

Okatse Cañón The Okatse Canyon, located in the Imereti region of Georgia, is a natural wonder offering spectacular views of a deep gorge surrounded by lush vegetation. This impressive canyon features a 700-metre suspended walkway that allows visitors to walk at great heights and enjoy panoramic views of waterfalls and the river flowing below. It is an ideal destination for nature and adventure lovers. During our visit we walk along the suspended bridge, admire the grandeur of the canyon and enjoy the unique connection with nature that this spectacular place offers.

Martvili Canyon

Martvili Cañón The Martvili Canyon, located in the Samegrelo region of Georgia, is a natural wonder known for its turquoise waters and impressive waterfalls. This canyon, formed over millennia by erosion, offers a dreamlike setting surrounded by lush vegetation. Visitors can enjoy boat rides along the Abasha River, explore scenic paths and be captivated by the unique rock formations and local legends of the place. Shekvetili Dendrological Park

Parque dendrógico de Shekvetili The Shekvetili Dendrological Park is located on the coast of the Black Sea in the Guria region of Georgia and is one of the most innovative and modern botanical gardens in the Caucasus. This fascinating green space, opened in 2020, covers 60 hectares where more than 200 species of exotic plants are displayed across various microclimates and themed environments. The park stands out for its state-of-the-art tropical greenhouse, its Japanese gardens and its impressive collection of giant bamboo and palm trees. During our tour we marvel at the elevated treetop walkways, explore Georgia's largest hedge maze and enjoy panoramic views from the observation tower overlooking the entire botanical complex.  

Batumi

BatumiLocated on the coast of the Black Sea, Batumi is Georgia's second largest city and capital of the Adjara region. It is an important seaport and tourist destination in the Caucasus. This vibrant city combines a rich history dating back to the 4th century BC with surprising contemporary architecture, where futuristic buildings intertwine with elegant 19th-century constructions. The Batumi Boulevard, a 7-kilometre seafront promenade, forms the heart of the city, while the old town charms with its cobbled alleyways and traditional Georgian balconies. During our visit we stroll along the lively seafront boulevard, enjoy Adjaran cuisine in traditional restaurants and admire the light and music spectacle of the Dancing Fountains, a unique experience that combines modernity with the charm of the old world.

Bagrati Cathedral

Catedral de Bagrati The majestic Bagrati Cathedral, dominating the Kutaisi skyline from the Ukimerioni hill, is a masterpiece of Georgian medieval architecture and a symbol of the country's Golden Age. Built during the reign of King Bagrat III in the 11th century, this Orthodox church exemplifies the grandeur of the classical Georgian architectural style with its characteristic central dome and elaborate stone reliefs. Although partially reconstructed in 2012, it retains its importance as one of Georgia's most significant monuments and was part of the UNESCO World Heritage List. During our visit we enjoy spectacular panoramic views over Kutaisi from its terraces, admire the architectural details combining ancient and modern elements and experience the tranquillity of this sacred space that has witnessed over a thousand years of history. Sataplia

Sataplia Located in the Imereti region of Georgia, the Sataplia Nature Reserve is an extraordinary natural park combining geological and palaeontological wonders. This unique area takes its name from the Georgian word for "place of honey", after the ancient wild beehives found in its limestone caves. The park houses one of the world's most significant collections of dinosaur footprints, preserved in Upper Cretaceous rocks, together with a spectacular system of karst caves adorned with stalactites and stalagmites. Its glass viewing platform offers unrivalled panoramic views over Kutaisi and the Caucasus mountains. During our adventure we follow the tracks of theropod dinosaurs, explore the mysterious illuminated caves and marvel at the views from the observation deck that seems to hover above the forest.

The Prometheus Cave

La cueva de Prometeus The Prometheus Cave, located near Kutaisi in Georgia, is one of the most impressive and extensive caves in the country and an important natural and tourist attraction. Discovered in 1984, this fascinating underground cavern takes visitors on a journey through vast halls adorned with stalactites, stalagmites and spectacular rock formations that, thanks to careful illumination, create a magical and immersive atmosphere.
